Yes — there's a working bifold in our Martlesham showroom at 7 Betts Avenue, IP5 3RH. Open Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm and Saturday 8:30am–11:00am.

A Word on DIY Fitting & Building Regs

Bifolds are a more involved install than a standard door — the outer frame must be dead level and square for the panels to run true. A confident DIYer with help can manage a smaller set; for larger sets we'd recommend an experienced installer. Replacement doors in a home must comply with UK building regulations: with a supply-only purchase you'll need Building Control sign-off or a registered installer.

Do you install aluminium bifold doors?

No — Tradesupply Windows is supply only. We manufacture to your sizes for you or your installer to fit. If you want supply and installation, our sister company Homestyle Windows UK is based in the same building at Martlesham, or we can recommend trusted local installers who are customers of ours.

What's the lead time on bifolds?

Bifold doors are made to order and generally take around 8–10 weeks from confirmed order. Bespoke RAL colours can occasionally add time — we confirm a date at quote stage so you can plan your job with confidence.

What's the difference between Unifold and Iconic?

How many panels can a bifold have?

Typical configurations run from 2 to 7 panels, folding left, right or split both ways, with an optional traffic door for everyday use so you don't fold the whole set to nip outside.

Can a DIYer fit a bifold?

A confident DIYer with help can manage a smaller set — the key is a dead level, square frame. For bigger sets we'd recommend an experienced installer. Replacement doors also need building regulations compliance, so factor in Building Control sign-off if you're not using a registered installer.

What guarantee do they come with?
