We currently have a great opportunity in our family run business as the Trade Counter Manager in Martlesham! The successful candidate will need to possess excellent customer care and IT skills. The role will mainly entail the below:

• First Point of Contact – Meeting and greeting customers in branch. Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
• Warehousing – Picking and preparing orders. Unloading deliveries into the branch warehouse and undertaking stock management duties with a high degree of accuracy. Heavy lifting is involved.
• Processing orders at the sales counter, over the phone, and responding to customers via email
• Arranging customer deliveries and collections

Skills & Experience

• Experience of windows/doors is highly desirable - but not essential as training can be provided
• First class people skills are essential - the ability to connect well with your trade customers
• A proactive, hands-on approach to help with all of the branch operations
• A valid driving licence
• You have a self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
• Reliability, good time keeping and attendance

This is a Full-time position.

Hours

Monday-Friday 07.00 – 17.00

Rotating Saturdays 08.30 – 11.00

Salary will depend on experience

Location: 7 Betts Avenue, Martlesham, IP5 3RH. You may be asked to cover our Ipswich Branch very occasionally.
